What type of test is performed?
Rapid COVID Doc performs molecular PCR testing. This test is for active infection only.
Is this test approved for travel purposes?
Yes, this is a PCR nasal swab and is approved by most major airlines, cruise companies and other forms of transportation for travel.
*Please note it is your responsibility to confirm if our specific testing meets your travel requirements. We are not responsible for any travel discrepancies due to testing.
How will my sample be collected?
The test is done with a nasal swab. The small thin swab is inserted into your nostril and rotated several times, it is gently removed and then repeated in the second nostril.
How will I get my results?
After your swab is collected and processed (aprox. 15mins) you will be provided a printed report of your test results.
Can I bring others with me for testing?
Yes, we are able to test multiple people at one time.
How old must a patient be to have a test?
We test patients of all ages. If a minor is being tested a parent or guardian must give consent for testing.
Is there a cost for testing?
Yes, we do not bill to insurance for testing and all testing fees must be paid upfront. The cost is $225 per test.
Do I need a medical referral for testing?
No, referrals are not necessary.
Do I need to schedule an appointment?
No, appointments are not necessary.
Is the test FDA approved?

Do I have to be a resident of the state I am being tested in?
No, you do not have to be a resident of a specific state or country. Anyone may be tested.
